Road Rage incident
in Worthington

On 08/31/2023, at 7:11 p.m., a vehicle was traveling Southbound on State Route 315 just South of Interstate 270. The vehicle was involved in what appears to be a road rage incident with the suspect vehicle. The suspect vehicle was described as a silver or gray Nissan SUV with all windows tinted dark black. The suspect vehicle's driver was described as a black male with dreads who pointed a black firearm at the other vehicle's driver and then fired a round, which struck the lower rear driver-side door. The victims also advised there was a female in the passenger seat of the vehicle. The suspect vehicle continued Southbound of State Route 315 and was observed on ODOT cameras at State Route 315SB and Bethel Rd. and State Route 315SB and Henderson Rd. It is unknown where the suspect vehicle continued after 315SB/Henderson Rd. due to traffic cameras not capturing it.

On Saturday, September 19, 2020, at 3:04pm, Columbus Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Sullivant Avenue and S. Wheatland Avenue, on a report of a female bleeding from her face. Officers arrived and spoke with the victim. She advised Officers that there were two more bodies inside of 511 S. Wheatland Avenue. The female was rushed to a local area hospital in critical condition. Officers searched the residence and found Lionel Adams and Candace Carr deceased. Leads in the case have gone stale and help is requested.

On Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 11:59 PM, Columbus Police officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of W. Broad St. to investigate a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers found the victim, 21yr old Andrew Combs, suffering from visible injuries. The officers rendered medical aid to Mr. Combs prior to the arrival of Columbus Fire medics. Mr. Combs was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and, despite receiving medical treatment, was pronounced deceased.
