News: 08.30.26
On 8-31-2015 at approximately 11:25 PM, CPD Officers were called to the area of 1664 Barnett Road on the report of an injured male laying in the street. Upon arrival, the officers found a single victim, later identified as Skyler Wagner, critically injured from a gunshot wound to the upper body. CFD Medic 4 was summoned to the scene and transported Mr. Wagner to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased at 11:51 PM.

On Thursday, August 31, 2017, at approximately 1:50pm, Columbus Police patrol officers responded to the scene of a double shooting at the corner of Traymore Place and Republic Avenue. The officers found two individuals, later identified as Theodore Stokes and Daryll Gavin, lying on a front porch suffering from gunshot wounds. Mr. Stokes was pronounced dead at the scene and Mr. Gavin was transported to Grant Hospital where he died several days later.
