On May 8, 2019, at approximately 2:25 a.m., Columbus Police Officers were summoned to the area of 807 Fairwood Avenue on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers found a male victim, inside a parked vehicle, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. CFD Medic 15 arrived at the scene and transported the victim, later identified as Marquise Antwaun Lanier, to Grant Medical Center in extremely critical condition.
